Match Point Table Tennis Events - Super Six Series

£100 block booking option - 6 tournaments for the price of 4!

The Match Point Table Tennis Super Six Series is an innovative concept taking place over six events at a single venue. Players will accumulate points across the series, with the ultimate goal of becoming the overall Super Six Series champion. The prize money is as follows:

1st place overall - £1000

2nd place overall - £500

3rd place overall - £250

4th place overall - £100

5th place overall - £50

The winner of each tournament on the day will also receive £100, with the runner-up receiving £50.

The series will feature Seniors and Restricted categories. Draycott TTC will host the seniors series only. Milton Keynes TTC will host both seniors and restricted events.

  • Seniors: Open to all players.

  • Restricted: Open to players who are outside the top 100 of the Table Tennis England (TTE) ratings on their date of entry to the tournament. Please see rule 7 for further information.

Milton Keynes Super Series:

Dates TBC. This series will commence in June.

Points System

  • 5 points for entering a tournament

  • 2 points per match win (this does not apply to consolation events)

  • 10 bonus points for entering all six tournaments

  • 5 bonus points for winning the tournament on the day

  • 3 bonus points for the runner-up of the tournament on the day

  • 3 points for winning the consolation tournament (if applicable)

  • 2 points for the runner-up of the consolation tournament (if applicable)

Regulations

  1. All tournaments within a Super Six Series will follow the standard Match Point Tournament Regulations. These can be found under the ‘Tournament Information’ tab.

  2. Entry fees:

    • Individual tournament entry: £25 per tournament

    • Block booking for all six tournaments: £100 (please note that this is non-refundable under any circumstances).

  3. Not all tournaments will contain a consolation event; this will depend on time constraints at the venue.

  4. No points are awarded for match wins in the consolation event.

  5. If a player receives a walkover, they will receive the allotted points for that match.

  6. The Restricted category is only open to players outside the top 100 of the TTE ratings list on their date of entry. Please see rule 7 for further information.

  7. The TTE ratings list on the date of the first tournament in a series applies to all tournaments in that series thereafter, regardless of any changes to the list throughout the series. Therefore, if you exit the top 100 of the ratings after the date of the first tournament in a series, you will not be eligible for restricted events. If you enter the top 100 after the first tournament in a series, you will still be eligible for the restricted series.

  8. Prizes for the overall points list winners:
